At VerifyOne, we believe authenticity should not cost you your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we handle data from both the brands that use our enterprise dashboard and the consumers who scan our cryptographic seals.

2. Consumer Scan Data

When a consumer scans a VerifyOne QR code without creating an account, we log anonymized metadata necessary for fraud detection: the token ID, timestamp, and approximate geographical region (IP-based). We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) during an anonymous scan.

3. Registered Ownership

If a consumer chooses to "Claim Ownership" of a product to activate warranties or loyalty programs, we collect the necessary registration details (e.g., name, email). This data is strictly partitioned and shared only with the specific brand associated with that physical product, and only with explicit consent.

4. Brand Dashboard Data

Brands utilizing the VerifyOne platform retain full ownership of their SKU, batch, and inventory data. We act merely as data processors. We aggregate scan data to provide high-level threat intelligence and counterfeit mapping, ensuring individual buyer data is never sold to third-party data brokers.
